A rider's helmet says a lot about them, as these magnificent seven helmets show. Our brand new interactive site takes a journey through the world of motorcycle riders to spot the giveaway signs which make each type of rider stand out from the crowd.
From a cafe racer's polished piece of art to the intercommed tourer, the type of helmet you have shows the world what type of rider you are - and we all belong to one group of riders or another. So whether you've got a race helmet that NASA would be proud of or a hardy rain soaked commuter; let's hear you.
From mud covered motocrossers and dusty adventurers to all you classic riders out there with a pocket full of oily rags and imperial spanners, be proud and share yours with your friends.
Brrrrr, time for heated jackets, heated gloves, heated inner soles, basically everything but a heated helmet, actually, that sounds like a good idea....
At MCA Leicester we have the full range of Keis Heated motorcycle clothing, no excuse for numb toes ever again.
We headed down to the NEC last weekend for the start of Motorcycle Live. This year’s show promised to offer us a lot - and we weren’t disappointed. It’s by far the biggest bike show in the country and from what we saw on Sunday biggest does mean best.
The show’s famous for its ‘first look’ displays of all the newest bikes and all the big names were there in force. The Kawasaki H2R made an appearance with its legendary 300bhp. Halvarsson was there showing off its new range and, of course, MCA was there meeting suppliers, other dealers and the big biking brands - all 25 of them who were there this year - to talk about our plans for 2015.
People were queuing up to sit on the latest Yamahas and Suzukis, but by far the biggest show in town this year was the launch of the Ducati scrambler in the UK. It’s been a long time in the making so the classic customs crowd was jostling for a close-up look. We got to the front and can say that it’s one mean machine.
We spent all day browsing the Classic, Custom and Retro areas sharing ideas and even caught some of the live entertainment in the arena before heading off.
We spotted a few famous faces too - no reveals though, you’ll have to check it out for yourselves to see who’s there! If you can get over before it closes on Sunday then do it - parking’s free for bikes and it’s well worth a visit. Check out the website for more details.
